The selection of Cologne city as our base for business is not really a surprise - after all,
it is one of Europe's most important media centres. Cologne is a thriving, exciting and modern media metropolis
with a variety of highly professional trades in all sectors of the business. Staying up to date and at the
technological leading edge, and thereby further enhancing the modern city's profile as many have come to
recognise it: make for an extremely attractive location.
Over half a billion Euros are annually invested in Cologne and it's surroundings for feature film productions,
television series, and shows. The Coloneum Studios, one of Europe's most advanced film production studios
(similar to Britain's Pinewood and Elstree studios) was built in the district of Ossendorf .
The movie Amélie („Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain”) which received
five academy award nominations was shot there, as well as Stefan Zweig's film: 24 Hours In A Woman's Life
(„24 heures de la vie d'une femme”).
A location distinguishes itself not only by means of growth, figures and economic characteristics, but also through
the people, realising complex projects and producing competitive products. The level of professional expertise and
qualified people available, were also a very important factor in our decision to make Cologne our base and location
of choice for Pauls Büro.
